TO SERVE PERIOD IN BORSTAL. (By Telegrapn.—press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. He was a member of one of* the worst bunches of young hoodlums that have been in Dunedin for some time, said the Magistrate, Mr Bartholomew, when dealing with Francis Henry Taylor (20), who appeared for sentence on a charge of having Insufficient means of support. The police said accused had left Dunedin without notifying the probation officer. He had previous convictions.

“He was a thief; he's not a trier, and always seems to have a grievance,” said the probation officer. Taylor was sentenced to two years’ Borstal.
