AUCKLAND TRAIN WELL FILLED. LARGE QUOTA FROM HAMILTON. The Sunday Railway Excursions to Auckland are gaining in popularity and no fewer than 223 from Hamilton and about 100 from Franklon Junction stations boarded the train yesterday for Auckland. A number of these broke the journey at stations along the line. Between four and five hundred arrived at Auckland. The excursion to Putaruru was not so well patronised, about 70 picnickers maldng the trip.
