Sir, —Our long-anticipated new Courthouse is proceeding apace, and it will soon be out of the contractor’s hands. Is it not time, therefore, that some Indication were given as to what the authorities intend to do with the present building ? It will be a setback to the town if the site and present building is left unoccupied for an in- • definite period. I understand it is proposed eventually to erect a new post-offlee on the site- That, however, is unlikely to eventuate for some considerable time, and in the meantime, ■what? —:I am, etm, CONTIS.
