AUSTRALIA’S VICEROY.

APPOINTMENT OF LOCAL MANNOT CONSIDERED PROBABLE. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received Nov- 15, 9-45 a.m-) LONDON, Nov. 14. Regarding the talk of a local appointee It is pointed out In high quarters that there is no likelihood of a departure from the ruling of Mr L. C. M. S. Amcry, formerly Secretary of State for the Dominions, that the appointment of Governor-General is under the Crown, to which the Commonwealth could make representations when the list of ellglbles Is being considered-
