Sugar 3 Eggs 2 gill Milk Jam Icing Sugar Tried and Proved with % lb. “Champion” Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Powder A few drops Cochlnoal 1 heaped tablespoon Cocoa Vanilla Essence. .Y “ CHAMPION” Flour, METHOD. Grease tins well with butter. Beat butter and sugar until white. Add wHlbeaton eggs: boat well. Add milk and essenoe. Add sifted flour and baking powder, mixing quickly and lightly, but do not beat. Divide the mixture Into three oqual parts: pour cream-coloured mixture Into sandwloh tin. Colour ono part pink with cochineal: add cocoa to the other part. Pour oolourod parts Into ths different tins: smooth over with a knife. Cook In moderate over about 20 or 30 minutes. Turn on sieve to cool- Join together with Jam; sprinkle with icing sugar.—G.M.P.
