PERSONAL.
Mr. W. 11. Allen, of Tirau, was a visitor to the show yesterday. Mr. E. D. McLennan, of Papakura, was a visitor to the show to-day. Mr. ALan Williamson is leaving Glen Massey to take up a position in Wellington. Messrs. A. Orr (Papatoetoe), A. Parkinson (Wellington), B. M. Myers, W. Marks (Auckland), and Laurie Nelson (Whangarei) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Dr. Russell, who has been acting as temporary port health officer at Auckland since the resignation of Dr. Harke, has been permanently appointed to that position. Mr William Heughan, the actorsinger, and his manager, Mr Andrew Broom, left for Auckland to-day. They will sail for Vancouver by Hie Aorangi on Tuesday. ■The Waikato Hospital Board today received the resignations of Sisters R. Swindail and M. G. Pearson and Nurses E. M. Henderson and M. O’Brien. Constable David Henry Sutton, who for the last eight years has been stationed at Hamilton, has received advice of his transfer to the Te Aroha district. He 'replaces Constable Baines, who has been transferred to Port Awanui. ’
