ALLEGED ASSAULT.
SEVERE INJURIES TO HEAD. A MAN ARRESTED. (Hy Telegraph.—Pros* Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Oscar W. Berk land, crane attendant of Lower Jlutt, is tying in the hospital with severe injuries to the head, as Hie result of an allegd assault, lor which a man lias been arrested.
ACCUSED BEFORE COURT. REMANDED UNTIL WEDNESDAY. WELLINGTON, Monday. Henry Norman Hansen, who was charged with assaulting Berkiand, was remanded till Wednesday.
