GENEVA, Oct, 12. •After heated discussions at the Maritime Conference and several adjournments the delegates by 54 votes to 24 rejected the shipowners' motion of protest against the seamen's delegates being appointed by the Trades Union Congress instead of by the Seamen’s Union. The shipowners’ delegates of all nations then withdrew from the conference.
