PALMERSTON TO WELLINGTON. 36 COMPETITORS FACE STARTER. KEEN CONTEST EXPECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) I PALMERSTON X., Saturday. Only four out of ttie forty entrants in the Palmerston Nortti-Wellington cycle road race failed to face the starter tins morning. The limit men I were sent away at 8.59 a.m. and the scratch men at 10.10, the Mayor being the starter. The conditions arc good, and a fast, keen race is expected.
