TWO SUICIDES.

BODY FOUND IN PADDOCK. THROAT CUT WITH RAZOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WOODVILLE, Friday. Peter O’Brien, aged 44, married, with a family of three, a mercer of Tauranga, committed suicide at Kumeroa yesterday by cutting his throat with a razor.

He had been ill for some time, and was on a health-recruiting visit to his wife’s relatives at Kumeroa. He left the house in the morning, and as he did not return search was made, and he was found in the afternoon in a paddock some distance from the house dead, with a razor by his side.

MAN TAKES POISON. (By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) GORE, Friday. Alexander Haugh, single, aged 50, committed suicide at Crookston this morning by taking strychnine. Deceased had been in ill health for some time.
