UNITED PARTY VIEWS. DISCLAIMER BY EXECUTIVE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. As a sequel to a newspaper controversy between Mr A. E. Davy, chairman of the United Party organisation, and Labour members of Parliament regarding the unemployed relief proposals, three members of the United Party executive, Messrs McGrath. Lonergan and Perry, to-day issued a statement to the Post that the matter lias never been before the executive of the United Party, who are in no way responsible for what are obviously .Mr Davy's private views, and that a meeting of the executive committee will be held to deal with the matter.
