At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Charles Robertson, commercial traveller, of Palmerston North, was committed for trial at the sitting of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North on a charge of negligently driving a motor car at Manawatu Gorge bridge on August 2Ath'., so as to cause the death of a gatekeeper named Symonds. Accused was admitted to bail in his own surety of £IOO and one surety 3f £IOO. 1
