The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltid., draw attention to the Hikutaia bull sale tomorrow, when 100 pedigree and grade ■bulls, mostly Jerseys will be offered; also Te Awamutu stock sale where 150 head of 'cattle will be yarded.
“Is this Napier?” asked a lady as she descended from a service car the other day. “No, it’s Wanganui,” replied the driver. It transpired that the lady was journeying to the Hawke’s Bay township hut by some chance, instead of joining the car at Palmerston North for that destination, "she got into the Wanganui car and made the trip, blissfully unconscious 10l her mistaka. ■
