The weekly stock sale at the F.rankton Salcyards to-day was well attended, and prices up to the time of going ’tp press were well up to Hie previous week’s figures. Sheep and cattle were yarded in average numbers, and there was a large yarding of pigs, the quotations for which showed an advance. Messrs G. W. Yei'coc and Company, Ltd., quoted: Fat bullocks, £IG 5s to £lO 12s Gd; lighter fat bullocks, £l4 15s to £ls 17s Gd; fat cows, £8 5s to £11; lighter fat cows, £7 5s to £7 17s Gd; light cows, to £7 Is; fat wethers, 27s to 28s. Heavy baconers, £4 Gs to £4 18s; lighter baconers and heavy porkers, £2 15s to £3 10s; lighter porkers, £2 5s to £2 10s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., quote: Fat bullocks, £l7 to £l7 15s; heavy fat cows, £ll 7s Gd to £l2 15s; lighter do., £9 to £9 15s; light cows, £5 Gs lo £G.
