RUSSIAN AMAZONS. CAPTURED IN MANCHULI CAMPAIGN INCESSANT CAVALRY ATTACKS (Australian Press Association.) (Received Oct. 8, 9.20 a.m.) SHANGHAI, Oct. 7. . Russian women were among the prisoners captured by the Chinese during the Manchuli engagements. They were wearing full Soviet military uniform. Soviet cavalry attacks continue vigorously daily, but they have failed to dislodge the Chinese defence lines. Air-craft activity is'assuming greater proportions on both sides.
