OUR NEW GOVERNOR.
AN UNFOUNDED REPORT. POST FOR MR KENWORTHY. (Australian Press Association.) (Received Sept, 2, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 1. It is learned authoritatively from Geneva that Mr Ramsay MacDonald has not approached Commander Kenworthy or anyone else with a view to the appointment of Governor General of New Zealand. Those well informed make the interesting suggestion that if Commander Kenworthy does not go to Moscow lie might be appointed British Ambassador at Washington.
