AERIAL CRASHES.

PILOT KILLED. LADY HEATH RECOVERING. (Australian Press Association.) NEW YORK, August 31. Thomas G. Reid, of Downey, California, made a new world’s solo endurance flight record last evening, beating Lieutenant Fahy’s record of 3G hours 23 minutes 34 seconds. Soon after Reid had passed that mark the sound of his aeroplane ceased to he heard. This morning the searchers found the wrecked aeropiane and the body of the pilot in Lorain Woods, west of the city. Apparently Reid.fell asleep and crashed into a tree. NEW YORK, August 31. A message from Cleveland, Ohio, says Lady Heath is recovering. The doctors are virtually certain that her health will be completely restored, and that no ill effects will remain.
