Association disclosed that that body is in a healthy financial condition after a most successful year’s operations. Power Board’s Finance. The position in regard to the probable income for the year ending March 31, 1930, of the Waitomo Electric Power Board is highly satisfactory, as disclosed at its recent • meeting. The aotual sales will exceed £16,500 for the year, so that the board's .surplus at the end of the financial year should be more than sufficient to meet one year’s depreciation charges. The previous estimates provided for a probable income of £15,500 for the year from sales of power and light, whereas the actual sales for the last quarter amount to £4009 10s 7d. Expenditure so far is well within the estimates.
