PETER PAN’S LETTER.
Dear Girls and Boys^— What a stir of excltoent there wa3 In Auckland during fast weekend when the French Warship Tourvllle called. Did any of you see tho party of officers In Hamilton on Sunday? Three or four cars arrived through from Rotorua, carrying officers who had been sight-seeing there. Their drive over must have been most enjoyable, especially over the ftl&maku hills, which were freshly green In the clear morning air. Ice bordered the road for miles while the clear song of the tul was heard at Intervals. The party made a short stay In Hamilton and then returned to Auckland,, leaving for Wellington on the Tuesday. It Is a fine thing to see the ever-increasing spirit of friendship between Great Britain and those who were her allies or her enemies during the Great War. Tho visit of the Tourville and the recent visit of the German Cruiser, Emden, should do much to strengthen that feeling. Good-bye for this week.
