An aerial beacon, which is not only the largest in the world, but is brighter than the sun, is about to be installed on the new Palmolive skyscraper in Chicago. The beacon, which will be known as the “Lindbergh Light,” in honour of the famous aviator, will have a capacity of 2,000,000 candle-power.
