CAMBRIDGE STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that at their Cambridge sale.an average yarding of beef, store cattle and pigs came forward. Pigs: Porkers £2 6s; good stores, £1 3s; slips, 12s to 18s. Dairys: Jersey cows, £lO to £l2 10s; Shorthorn cows, £lO to £ls; Jersey heifers, £9 to £lO ss. On account of Mr Gosnell, Jersey cows, £ll to £l3; Shorthorn cows, £lO to ’£l2; Jersey and Shorthorn cows, backward, £7 10s to £9; on account of Mr Garland, Jersey cow’s, £l2 to £l4; Holstein cows, £ll to £l4; Shorthorn cows, £ll 10s to £l3 10s; others, backward, £7 to £9 10s.

CLEARING SALE AT MOTUMAOHO

The Farmers’ Co-operative Auclionecring Company, Ltd., report:— On Monday we held, on behalf of Mr Geo. Were, Motumaoho, in conjunction with Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., a most successful clearing sale of his dairy herd. The herd averaged 3201 b fat last year, and were all Jersey and Jersey cross. The exceptionally good price of £l6 is 3d was averaged for the whole herd of 70 springing cows. Extra choice Jersey and Jersey cross cows, close to profit, made from £l9 10s to £25, due later, £l4 10s to £18; backward cows, £lO to £l2; two-year in-calf Jersey heifers, £ll 10s to £l3; Jersey cows, in full milk, £lO 10s to £ls; choice Jersey heifer calves, marked by the New Zealand Herd-Testing Association, made £7 ss. IMPOUNDED.
