ST. GEORGE’S PARISH.

NEW SYNODSMEN. * ONLY TWO NOMINATIONS. Only two nominations for representatives of St. George’s Parish, Frankton, on synod, have been received—those of Messrs W. F. Kent-Johnston and B. C. Lowry. A meeting of parishioners will be held tills evening to confirm tiie election of these gentlemen in accordance with the Statute. It will be recalled that tiie election of these gentlemen at the annual parishioners’ meeting last April was upset, as Mr Kent-Johnston had not compiled with the residential qualifications. He has since done so, and rendered himself eligible for re-election.
