The death has occurred of Mr. "—Richard McGregor, aged 68, manager of the Occidental Una United Mine. “" J “He has resided at Thames for the past Ilfly years with intervals at Broken Hill, Waitekauri, and Karangahake. He owned the McGregor’s Battery on the Karaka Creek. He leaves three sans Messrs Richard and Peter McGregor (of Auckland) and Mr. George Me uregor of Thames and one daughter, Mrsf Harrison of Auckland. MR JOSEPH ORCHISTON. .<WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The death is announced of Joseph. Orchiston, late chief telegraph engineer, at theage of 73. SIR JULIAN ORDE. LONDON, June 19. The death has occurred of Sir Julian Orde, for 20 years secretary to the Royal Automobile Club. He showed much hospitality to Dominion officers lh wartime.
