N.Z. OFFICER IN AUSTRALIA. v. ■’’SAL MATTERS INVESTIGATED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. An important mission on behalf of New Zealand has just been concluded by Mr A. 11. Kemball, Under-Secretary of the Mines Department. Mr Kemball returned to Wellington from Australia yesterday after spending six weeks in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia investigating questions affecting coal and gold mining prospecting, the use of pulverised fuel, mining procedure, etc. Mr Kemball will incorporate the result of his inquiries in a report to the Government.
