A professional boxmg contest tonight heiween Tommy Donovan, Bst lUib (New Plymouth), and Sid North, Bst 4Jb (Australia), scheduled to go 15 rounds, ended sensationally jn Lite fourth, when Donovan fouled North, and the latter was awarded the decision. Donovan from the first gong forced Uic pace, and North was unable to avoid damaging punches. In the third round Nort.li reeled from a blow and tlie gong saved him. Donovan was aggressive in the fourth round, hut iiiL North low. The verdict met wllti u mixed reception, but the foul was obvious.
