QUEEN CARNIVAL PARTY. ' A very jolly snowball tea was held ■ln* the Parish Hall, Claudelands, yesterday afternoon for Miss Norah Valder, the Claudelands queen. ... Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdarnes H. H. Clark, A. B. Clark, Geo. Boycs, Hubert Hammond, A. W. Ward, J. D. Smith, Verc Cliitty, R. M. Madill and A. Gilford. A delightful programme was rendered, consisting of a trio by Misses Helen llcywood, I. Leak and Norah Valder; violin and ’cello solos by Miss P. Iliggot and Miss H. llcywood; songs by Mrs M. C. McGregor and Miss R. Mouic. Accompaniments were
played by Miss N. Valder and Miss Beryl Higgot. Those present were: Mesdarnes J. R. Fow, G. R. Barnett, H. Valder, W. A. Murray, F. Snell, M. C. McGregor, Speight, Yule, H. J.
