Country Women’s Club. A very pleasant and interesting afternoon was spent by the members of the Takiwa Country Women's Club and their friends, when Mrs Brailsford of Hamilton, spoke on “Home Life in Japan,” and also showed numerous articles which are in daily use there. The speaker, who has travelled extensively, w T as listened to with keen interest, and at the close of her address was accorded a very’ hearty vote of thanks and appreciation. Afternoon tea brought a very enjoyable afternoon to a close. Personal. Mr and Mrs W. J. Lusty and Miss L. Lusty have returned from a visit to Auckland.
