WORRYING OF SHEEP.
FARMER’S HEAVY LOSS. ONE LOSES THIRTY ANIMALS. Farmers in the Taihoa district, about four miles from Matamata, have suffered severe losses of sheep during the past few days. The heaviest loser is Mr M. Finnegan. Out of a mob of sixty-eight sheep owned by this farmer no fewer than thirty were either worried lo death or forced into a creek and were drowned. Many others are in a bad condition.
