(To the Editor-) Sir, —With reference to the letter signed “Onlooker,” dealing with the above subject, I would like lo say that I do not propose to indulge in a public controversy with your correspondent who hides ids identity under a norn-do-plumo. . This is ap occasion where anonymity is neither necessary nor desirab.e. if, however, "Onlooker,” at
whose identity I can guess fairly accurately, will attend the special meeting of the Hamilton Rugby Union which has been called to deal with this matter, he will hear what I say on the subject, and I think he will llnd it ulequate—l am, etc., E. J. L. WHITING.
