APPEAL DISMISSED.

A CASE FROM SAMOA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Mr Justice Ostler delivered judgment in the appeal case, Samoa Guardian and William Tarr, editor, v. Mr Justice McCarthy, of Apia. The appeal was from the decision of the High Court of Western Samoa awarding McCarthy £IOO damages for libel. The appeal was dismissed.
