A step, stated to be unique in the industrial history of Australia is contemplated. Two logs arc'to be served on railway employees of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania next Friday, for the purpose of inaugurating considerably longer hours ami a reduction of privileges lor Sunday duties. The members of fifteen trade and professional organisations have accepted the proposals and individual employees will be asked to accept or reject the conditions in writing before May 25.
