AUSTRALIA TO LONDON,
SOUTHERN CROSS FLIGHT. TO START NEXT WEEK. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.), (Australian Press (Received March 7, 11.30 aan.) SYDNEY, March 7. The Southern Cross flight to London will begin from Richmond on March 18. The first, stage to Wyndham, 1860 miles, will he done in one hop. 'Die next stage, Wyndham t.o Singapore, a distance of 2030 miles will also lie done in one hop. Squad-ron-Leader Smith and Flight-Lieuten-ant Ulm hope to make the last stage from Baghdad to London, 2513 miles non-stop also. They expect to reach England in about 13 days from Richmond, where exhaustive lasts of instruments and monoplane are at pres* enL being carried out.
