The interprovincial tennis match for the Anthony Wilding Shield between Wellington (holders) and Canterbury was commenced to-day in perfect weather 1 . Results were: — Singles.—T. Seay (Canterbury) beat D. G. France, 13 —11, 6 — 2. Doubles. —A. L. France and T. Rhodes Williams (Wellington) beat I. A. Seay and C. Angas, 6—3, 3 —6, C —3; D. G. France and C. E.
