. WEDDINGS. REID—SANDERS. A very pretty wedding was celebrated by Rev. 11. G. Gilbert at St. Andrew’s Church, Hamilton, when Irene Florence, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W- T. Sanders, of Ngahinapouri, was married to Walter John, elder son of Mr and Mrs D. Stewart Reid, also of Ngahinapouri. The bride, who entered the prettily decorated church on the arm of her father to the strains of the Wedding March, wore a lovely frock of silver lame with an over-dress of white chenille georgette, embossed in silver, with circlets of orange blossoms at the shoulder and waist line. Her veil was, daintily embroidered in silver and fell in cascades from a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried an exquisite shower bouquet of roses, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by two maids. Miss Flora Reid (sister of the groom) wore a dainty frock of shell-pink satin with a tiered skirt of shaded tulle, and touches of silver, and Miss Gwen Reid wore a pretty frock of hydrangea blue georgette relieved in silver, over silver lame. Both wore picture hats of biege with floral trimmings of pink and blue, and carried pretty shower bouquets to tone. Mr Charles Reid (brother of the groom) acted as best man, and Mr Morris Reid, of Whakatane, carried out the duties of groomsman. After the ceremony the reception was held at the Wattle Tea Rooms, where about fifty guests were entertained. Mrs Sanders (mother of the bride), received her guests in a handsome frock of rose French crepe dc chine and lace, with a smart hat to match. Mrs Stewart Reid (mother of the groom' was dressed in a smart navy crepe de chine frock relieved in vieux rose, and wore a hat to loneA most inieresting feature of the breakfast was the cutting of the beautiful wedding cake, which was made and given to the bride by .Mrs T. Allen. During the breakfast many congratulatory telegrams were read. The bride travelled in a delphinium blue mylesta and lace ensemble with grey and blue to match. They left by car on the first stages of their honeymoon. WALLACE— NOONAN. The wedding took place on Wednesday last, at the residence of Mr and Mrs R. S. Noonan, Teasdale Street, To Awamulu, of their eldest daughter, Violet Mary, to Cecil Rhodes Wallace, youngest son of Mrs R. G. Wallace, Tc Aroha. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father O'Connor, cf Hamilton. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful frock of ivory chenille georgcllc, over nc-c-or-deou pleated silver tissue, the back being made with a panel effect, finished with bands of cream fur. The waist was encircled with a swathe of silver tissue finished with a large bow. Her veil of embroidered tulle was livid in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, and a shower bouquet of carnations, sweet peas and maidenhair fern was carried. Miss Daphne Noonan, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and looked very charming in a frock of peach-coloured georgette, made with a close-fitting bodice, the skirt being very long at the back and showing a panel of gold lace in the front. Little Tui Armstrong, who acted as flower-girl, looked very sweet in an accordeon pleated frock of georgette, the colour scheme being mauve and pink. In attendance upon the bridegroom was Mr G. Wallace, brother of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony a reception was held at. the Cenlral Tea Rooms, at which there was a very large attendance of guests. Mrs Noonan wore a frock of dove grey georgette and lace, and a coat of crepe lleuri trimmed with grey fur, and a smart blue hat. Her posy was of blue flowers and asparagus fern. Mrs Wallace, mother of the bridegroom, wore a navy ensemble suit with smart navy hat, and she carried a posy of pink carnationsThe bride's travelling costume was a smart navy frock trimmed with pink georgette and smart navy hat. Mr and Mrs Wallace will make their home in the Te Aroha district.
