BOY’S SUDDEN DEATH

FROM SORE THROAT. (By Tdegraph.—Press Association.) / THAMES, Monday. Richmond Victor Dawson, aged 10, died suddenly on the morning of January 23. At the inquest on Saturday the fattier said the boy was suffering with a sore Lhroat. Witness left Ihe house at 10.30. His wife went shopping and returned at li a.m. to find the boy choking. A doctor was summoned, but the boy died before his arrival.

A post mortem examination revealed that acute oedema of the larynx haddeveloped suddenly, causing asphyia.
