FARM MANAGER KILLED. WHEN DRIVING IN COWS. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) TE AROIIA, Monday. A fatal accident occurred yesterday. William liallen, manager of Mrs Hallcn's property on No. 7 Road, Waitoa, was driving in the cows for milking when he was attacked by a Jersey hull. He was horribly injured about the body, and his neck was broken. Deceased was an elderly man and unmarried. UNENVIABLE EXPERIENCE. PUTARURU, Sunday. A bull attacked Mr McDonald, ' a farmer, of Tokoroa, while he was standing by the cowshed, and flung him for about 10 yards. The animal then stood over him while he was lying on the ground. Mr McDonald’s housekeeper let the dog loose and the animal drove the hull away, saving Mr .McDonald from his dangerous predicament. Mr McDonald is suffering from shock.
