YOUR SUIT CASE.

Attache or suit cases of leather can be preserved and renovated by rubbing in a little beeswax and turpentine, or by a sparing application of any good make of floor polish. Bad scratches will probably need three or four applications. You can prepare a mixture at home that gives most excellent results. You will require one eggeupful of methylated spirit, one eggeupful of vinegar, and twice as much linseed oil anrf turpeniine. The mixture must be well shaken before using. If a canvas suit case has been torn or damaged, it can be mended by patching carefully with strong linen. Unbleached linen is the very best to use for the purpose. To make the patch inconspicuous, it can be painted to match the colour of the case.
