FIVE-TON BELL CAST. DEMONSTRATION IN MARCH. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received Jan. 17, 2.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 16. The first five-ton bell for the Wellington war memorial carillon was cast in the presence of Sir James Parr. It is expected that 49 bells will be completed by the end of march when there will be a public demonstration.
