IS IT A LAKE?
(To the Editor^ I sir,—What is all this talk about the rushes at what Hamiltonians seem pleased to call the' Lake. From what I as a new-comer, have seen of the place, it is merely a quagmire which is a bit jucier in the centre than at the sides. The best thing to do with the area is to let it dry up and use it as a playing area.—l,am, etc., NEW ARRIVAL.
