VISIT TO THIS DISTRICT. Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister for Lands, has arranged to visit the Waitomo electorate on Friday and Saturday, in furtherance of his promise made some weeks ago that he would personally inspect the backblocks settlement. The Minister will travel north from Wellington, arriving at Frankton by the Limited express at 7 o’clock on Friday morning, motoring back to Te Awamutu, where he will breakfast at 8. After breakfast it is planned that he shall motor out to Pukeatua and Aohena returning via Ngaroma and Wharepuhunga to the Tokanui Crossroads late in the afternoon, and thence on to Otorohanga and Te Kuiti, where the night will be spent.
