TEAM CANNOT COME. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. At a meeting of the management comnilttee of the Auckland Cricket Association the Waikato Association asked for a match against Auckland at Hamilton on Anniversary Day. A reply is to be sent that it will be Impossible to send a team that day. THE BOWLER SHIELD, i MORRINSVILLE v. WAITOA. The match at Morrinsville between Waitoa and Morrinsville for the Bowler Shield, held by Morrinsville, resulted in a win for the latter. J. Altken’s score of 106 was the outstanding feature of the game. It was a rather remarkable Illustration of the part luck played in the game. Last week Aitken was cleaned bowled in the first over before scoring a' single run. The following are the details:— WAITOA.
