Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited, in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited, have received instructions from MR CHARLES STRAKA, PUHOI, to sell his whole flock of pure-bred Romney sheep, consisting of:— 130 STUD 4 > 6 & 8 - TOOTH EWES 32 Stud 2-tooth ewes 15 Stud 2-tooth rams 20 Flock 2-tooth rams 46 Stud ewe lambs 34 Stud ram lambs The above flock was founded in 1925, with 55 ewes and ewe lambs at rlispcrsal sale of Mr L. T. McLean’s flock No. 346, and latterly sheep were procured from Messrs Tanner and Voss, the well-known breeders. Mr Straka has been very successful at the Rodney shows, taking nearly all the prizes in his district. We can recommend breeders to attend this sale, as the quality of the above is flrst-class.
