The president read a telegram from the General in reply to yesterday's greclings, as follows: — *• i thank you for your telegram, and fully reciprocate all you say. May God guide and bless you and your homes. —Yours affectionately, Bramwell Booth.”
The question of sending a deputation to see the General was being discussed when the council adjourned.
