A PEEPING TOM.
VICTIM OF CURIOBITY.
FINE OF £1 IMPOSED.
(By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Thursday.
Passing by the window of a house in Parnell last night Frank Archibald McMillan had his attention arrested by what he saw, and as there was a lady retiring McMillan showed a disposition to linger. He went into the next door premises to obtain a better view of the bedroom,' but was seen by the woman of the house, who gave an alarm, whereon McMillan, forgetting his interest in the next door bedroom, sought to escape. He was, however, grabbed by the owner, who kept him until the police arrived to take him in charge. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said the -young man had a good character, and was apparently the victim of his own curiosity. A fine of £1 was imposed.
