There is still a little scarlet fever and diphtheria in the South Canterbury district. During the past four days the District Health Inspector (Mr J. Menzies) has been notified of three cases of scarlet fever in the Waimate County and one in the Timaru Borough. There has also been one case of diphtheria in Timaru. .
