BAY OF ISLANDS PETITION. TO BE HEARD AT KAWAKAWA. DATE FIXED FOR JANUARY 28. (Special to Times.) \V E L LIN GTO N, Wedne sda y. It is understood that the Electoral Court, to hear the petition lodged by the supporters of Air Allan Bell against the return of Captain H. M. Rushworth as the member for the Bay of Islands will consist of Mr Justice A. L. Ilerdman and Mr Justice 11. If. Ostler.
The, investigation will take place at Kawakawa, and will open on Monday, 28th instant.
The hearing will probably take two or three days.
