LONG WED

TE RAPA COUPLE’S JUBILEE. MR AND MRS F. HENWOOD. Mr and Mrs Frederick Henwood, of Te Rapa, well-known Waikato settlers, have celebrated their golden wedding. Mr Henwood, who is 74 years of age, is the son of the late Mr Henwood, who came to New Zealand in 1840 in the ship William Bryant. He ■was married in New Zealand and reared a large family, of whom Mr F. Henwood is the youngest. Mrs Henwood was formerly Miss Caroline Lester. Prior to coming to the Waikato some 25 years ago, Mr and Mrs Henwood lived in various parts of Taranaki, Manawatu and the Bay of Plenty. They have seven children and 30 grandchildren.
