UNDER GRAFTON BRIDGE. MAN WITH BROKEN LEG. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. A newspaper employee, when crossing Grafton Bridge over the Symonds Street cemetery at 2.45 this morning, heard groaning underneath and informed the police, who found in the gully Victor Charles, with a compound fracture of the right leg. They had him removed to the hospital. Charles is a married man and resided in Grey Lynn. DEATH IN HOSPITAL AUCKLAND, Monday. Victor Charles, who jumped over Grafton Bridge early this morning, died in the hospital at mid-day.
