HAMILTON'S "RED TERROR."

(Tb the Editor.) Sir,—l find that my letter complaining of the huge red eyesore on the rWer bank at Hamilton has been misunderstood by some people. One thought the reference was to fee.boat shed. That building might well be removed to a more convenient spot but 1 have never found it offensive to the eye. Another imagined that I might be. attacking the red brick steps on Memorial Park. That might look better if it were decently clad in creepeis, but it is hardly noticeable, whereas the huge Hat wall of red brick on the town side of the river hits one in the face. I have heard many people declaim against this ugliness. I trust some of them will support any protest. —I am, etc., KILLARNEY. Hamilton, Dec. 13.
