Butter is very firm owing to the shortage on the Continent. Danish 2205; choicest salted New Zealand, 182 s to 184 s, exceptional 186 s; Australian, 182 s to 184 s. Unsalteds are scarce; New Zealand 194 s to 1965; Australian 182 s to 186 s. Cheese: New Zealand, white 98s, coloured 100 s; Australian, 96s to 98s. Eggs: Very dull, supplies exceeding demand. Australian and New Zealand are very difficult to sell, the former at 16s to 17s 6d, the latter 17s 6d to 18s 6d; exceptional 19s.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from London, dated December 13:— Butter. —Market firm. New Zealand finest salted 180 s to 186 s. Cn eese.—Steady at present prices. White, 96s to 98s; coloured, 98s to 100 s. (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday. Messrs Norden and Co's. cable from their London principals, dated December 13, reads: — Bu tter. —Market is firm. F.o.b. equivalent salted, 184 s, f.o.b. equivalent to Is 5.93 d; unsalted, 198 s (la 7.37 d). Cl iees e.—Market is steady. White, 97s (8.75 d); coloured, 100 s (9.05 d). (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday. Amalgamated Dairies Limited, have received the following cable from their London house under date 13th. inst. — Butter: Anchor 186 s; other finest 184 s; market very firm. Danish 2165. Cheese: White 97s to 98s; coloured 99s to 100 s; market slow. LONDON QUOTATIONS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, have received the following cablegram from their London House, under date 12th. instant, last week's quotations being in parentheses:— Butter. —New Zealand choicest salted, 182 s to 184 s per cwt. (178 s to 180 s.) Market is firm. Cheese. —White, 97s per cwt; coloured, 99s (96s to 98s). Market i» steady.
